Lowfat Black Forest Parfait

It's a simple, low fat and delicious dessert recipe. Recipes for dessert that are healthy are hard to find, but this inexpensive healthy dessert recipe answers the call.

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups low fat milk
4 ounces Neufchatel cheese
1 package Jell-O chocolate sugar free instant pudding
15 ounces low fat chocolate cake, cubed
20 ounces can reduced calorie cherry pie filling
1 square semi-sweet chocolate for grating

Instructions

Pour 1/2 c. milk into the blender container. Add the Neufchatel cheese and cover. Blend until smooth. Add remaining 1-1/2 cups cold milk and the pudding mix. Cover and blend until smooth.
Divide cake cubes evenly among 12 individual parfait glasses. Reserve a few cherries for garnish.
Spoon remaining cherry mixture over cake cubes. Top with pudding mixture.
Chill until ready to serve. Garnish with reserved cherries and grated chocolate.
