5 Ingredient Amish Style Ground Beef Casserole

Use the flavors of Amish country to inspire your healthy cooking recipes, make this 5 Ingredient Amish Style Ground Beef Casserole. Best of all, this hearty ground beef casserole recipe is ready from start to finish in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound extra lean ground beef
  • 6 tablespoons reduced fat cream cheese
  • 1 3/4 cups mushroom soup
  • 1 cup canned corn with pimento
  • 1 package Pillsbury Grands! Biscuits Homestyle - Reduced Fat Golden Wheat
Instructions
  1. Brown ground beef in a pan, and then drain off any excess fat.
     
  2. Mix together the cream cheese, soup and corn in a seperate bowl. Pour mixture into 2-quart casserole dish. Add beef and then top with reduced fat biscuits.
     
  3. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for about 20 minutes.
Notes

For this recipe, try using the Easy Cream of Mushroom Soup recipe instead of canned soup. If you don't want to use refrigerator biscuits, use the dough from this Super Simple Biscuit Mix. Additionally, you could also use the dough from the Guilt Free Cracker Barrel Style Biscuits recipe or from the KFC's Borrowed Biscuits Recipe.
