Sure, everybody loves a classic cheese nachos recipe, but why not mix things up a bit? This Twisted Italian Nachos recipe from Alli from An Open Cookbook uses 5 ingredients to make one of the most uniquely delicious party snack recipes out there. Learn how to make nachos that will astound everyone with this finger foods idea.

Alli says, "This is a new twist on your average nachos. I saw a similar idea on the menu of a local restaurant, and thought this would be a great dish to serve at a big party. You can treat the ingredients like your favorite toppings of pizza, so feel free to add pepperoni or peppers and onions."

Yields: 1 very large serving platter

Ingredients
  • 1 (16 ounce) bag tortilla chips
  • 1 (28 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 small can black olives, drained and diced
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, drained and diced
  • 1 bag mozzarella cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

  2. On a parchment lined baking sheet, spread out half of the bag of tortilla chips. Spoon half of the jar of marinara onto the chips. Sprinkle half of the olives, artichoke hearts and cheese. Repeat another layer of chips, marinara, olives, artichokes and cheese.

  3. Bake until cheese is melted and marinara is bubbling, about 15 minutes. Turn on the broiler to brown the cheese for a few minutes. Serve immediately.
