Guilt Free Cracker Barrel Style Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups Bisquick® Heart Smart® baking mix
  • 2/3 cup skim milk mixed with 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar substitute
  • 1 tablespoon butter substitute, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
     
  2. Mix together Bisquick, skim milk/lemon juice mixture and sugar substitute.
     
  3. Add one tablespoon of the melted butter substitute into the mixture, and combine thoroughly until a soft dough forms.
     
  4. Turn dough onto a surface dusted with whole wheat flour. Knead approximately 20 times.
     
  5. Roll dough until 1/2-inch thick, cut into biscuits with a cutter , and then place in an ungreased 8-inch square cake pan.
     
  6. Place biscuits next to each other. When all biscuits are in the pan, flatten them slightly.
     
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Love your recipes but could U list calorie, and fat and carbs , protein , and fiber in your recipes.

these recipes all sound great & i would love to try them,but without acalorie count or carb count i cannot try them. why do you print recipies without this info? yhey are useless for many peopl so we will have to find a place that furnishes all info. i really don't want to,but what can i do?
